First of all, I'm very excited to have all of my headcanons smashed to bits by this movie :D

Second of all, I think it's really funny how I've seen so many people saying various versions of 'I'm so happy Toph isn't dressed as a cop! Fingers crossed!' Like. Somehow her clothes indicate that the creators have said 'Ah, forget LoK, we're just going to change everything.'

I hope people realize that Chief Beifong is here to stay in canon material (by all means, go crazy in fanfic), whether they like the narrative choice or not. More importantly, there's a decent chance this movie will provide at least a basic explanation of the circumstances and choices that led Toph down that path. Maybe it will even make some people say 'Yeah, I guess I can see it now that it's all been laid out.' (I can dream, can't I?)

Also, can we all agree that Sokka is looking fiiiiine??

God, i'm so happy that in fandom, even now, two years before the movie, the new image of adult Katara is being spread. Her gorgeous hair, her free tunic, and orange waistband that means she is engaged to Aang evidently. Also it shows that she not only stays in Water Tribe, but also is a part of Air Nomads, destroyed nation that is being rebuilt with her and Aang efforts (and also with efforts of Zuko, Toph, Sokka and many other people). And that Air Nomad culture will be tebuit in the new era of peace and justice.

Katara symbolises the hope for a new and beautiful world.

How does it feel to be the same age as Katara in the new Aang Movie?

Haha well I don’t know if it’s been confirmed what exact ages the Gaang will be in the 2025 movie yet - from the articles I’ve seen, all we know is that they are going to be “adults”, so they likely will be in their 20s (maybe early 30s?) if I had to guess. Especially based on this leaked image of the Gaang from last year, which is all we have to go off of visually right now.

Either way, I’m probably around the age that most of them will be in the movie, which is definitely gonna be interesting, especially as someone who was just a little younger than Aang and Toph were when I started watching AtLA in 2007-08!
